Pi mile run is an annual event organized for the 14th of March (3.14). The student chapter of Engineering honor Society of Tau Beta Pi organizes this run to support the guide dog association of Wisconsin. Pi run is famous for its Pi, Puppies and prizes available at the race

This year pi mile run was organized on the first weekend of April. In spite of it being in April, due to bad weather situation not all of the runners showed up, however, the final run proceeded as planned. This year close to 100 participants ran in the 5k and 10k races.

The volunteers for ASME played a pivotal role in the smooth organization of the run. We had duties of race path guides, bag check, on the day registration, runner check in and prize distribution. Close to $2000 were raised and donated to Occupaws guide dog. The runners as well as the volunteers enjoyed the race which ended with a raffle of left over prices.
